Mass Loaded Vinyl (MLV) is a high-density, limp vinyl acoustic barrier engineered to block airborne sound transmission. By adding limp mass without bulk, MLV significantly increases the Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating of drywalls, floors, ceilings, and machinery enclosures.
